DJ Jan-Henrik Schlottke

Jan-Henrik is from Berlin, a city where the Tango may be lived. As a DJ he is only occasionally on the road, as a dancer and lover of "Tango in close Embrace" he never rests and takes worldwide as many opportunities as possible to enjoy the tango.

His choice of music represents exactly his dancing preference: Lively, joyful and strong music in harmony with a small shot of melancholy and drama - A selection of the finest pieces of music from the 'Epoca de Oro'. His goal is to see people smile and have a good time.

Justyna Jedrzejewska

DJ Hans Peter Salzer

I am DJ-ing in the south of Germany, Austria and other european countries. Additionally I give workshops for DJs and lectures about musicality for dancers. I like to dance at traditional Milongas and at Encuentros, guided by the codigos.

For international events I always DJ in the traditional ’standard-format’: 4T-4T-3V-4T-4T-3M or 4T-4T-4V-4T-4T-3M. This structure with Tandas and Cortinas supports the social way of dancing. The ‘Epoca de Oro’ is the fundament and basic choice for this format, so I select tangos from the Thirties to the Fifties.

Danceable music is the most important benchmark for me; music selected especially for dancers. Energy, ‘compas’, melodies and singers are presenting a big variety of clear or complex offers for the dancers - I think, I like to represent this variety in my selections. Moreover, I study the dancers on the dance floor and try to interact with them by adapting my selection of music on the spot.

DJ Antonio Martinez

Antonio Martinez, Argentinian from Buenos Aires, a well-known and much appreciated teacher and dancer of tango, had the opportunity to gain his experience as “musicalizador” in Buenos Aires when he was collaborating with the organization Unitango. During that time he was the regular DJ at the weekly milonga that Unitango organized at Confiteria Ideal, the historic cafe’ of the “tango porteño”. During his years in Argentina he also collaborated with several milongas in La Plata (in the province of Buenos Aires).

Antonio is very much inspired by the work of Carlos Rey, the resident DJ of some of the best traditional milongas of Buenos Aires, like “Cachirulo” and “Lujos” at El Beso.

Since moving to Europe Antonio has been gaining a strong reputation as musicalizador thanks to his classic, but yet very personal and original selections. He creates well-balanced tandas of music from the 30’s, the 40’s and the 50’s.

Among his many appearances, in Italy he has Dj’ed at the first, third and fourth edition of the Festivalito in Montecatini Terme as well as the Milonga di Tango Firenze in Impruneta, the milonga at Circolo Gardel in Modena, la milonga de La Torcacita in Bologna, Puntataco Milonga in Fucecchio, the Milonga of Traspiè Tango in Perugia and lately at the "Fiesta Argentina" in Ferrara.

In Europe he has Dj’ed several times at “Carablanca Tango Club Milonga” in London, at “Corrientes Social Club” in London, at “Cafetìn de Buenos Aires” both in its original location in Frankfurt and twice in their new home in Hofheim, at the Milonga at “Tango Mania” in Saabrücken (Germany), “La Peniche” in Metz (France), at “Geburtstagsball Destinotango" in Frankfurt, at the “Abrazos” tango festival in Totnes (UK), at Wilmslow Cheshire Tango in the UK and at the popular Sunday "Milonguita" in Mainz, at "La Tardecita" and "La Nochecita" in Frankfurt. Among his latest appearances he counts two consecutive invites at a very popular four day event at Eton (UK), the Milonga Confluencia in Bad Ems and the Milonga Arrivederci at the first edition of the Saarburg Festivalito Tango.
